Here is a test you can practice at home. Try walking as demonstrated in the video below and see how many parts of your feet you can move through. Also have a look at the soles of your oldest shoes and observe where they are more worn out (left and right foot can differ). This will indicate where you are putting more pressure when you walk. Properly walking through all the parts of the foot minimizes the strain caused by walking on hard surfaces. This can help prevent foot, knee, hip and back injuries.
